The Optra T610sx consists of a T610N monochrome, laser printer plus the OptraImage 242 SCSI, colour, simplex scanner. The new price of the scanner alone, part no. 16A0472 was $2,700 plus GST. The scanner can be combined with many Lexmark Optra laser printers to provide integrated A4 scan, fax, copy and print facilities. The scanner (model 4036-301) is equipped with an automatic document feeder (ADF) and is connected by a narrow SCSI cable to a special print server mounted in an expansion slot in any Lexmark Optra T monochrome or Optra C colour laser printer. The special print server (Lexmark Marknet N2501e) combines 10/100 Ethernet, SCSI outlet to connect to the scanner, and fax modem in one card.

The OptraImage T614dx is a faster model that pairs the T614N printer with the OptraImage 443 colour, duplex scanner.
